David Bogardus has over twenty years of experience that includes National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance, wetland and listed species permitting and mitigation, and permit compliance oversight. David has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Horticulture, with a focus on Natural Communities Restoration, and a BA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Wildlife Biology.
Prior to joining Quest, David served eight years with the Florida Department of Transportation in the District Four Planning and Environmental Management Office serving as Senior Environmental Scientist. In this capacity, he performed a variety of tasks related to transportation planning, Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Studies, environmental permitting, and construction. David has also worked for several international science-based conservation organizations including World Wildlife Fund and The Billfish Foundation.
In his spare time, David is an active board member of the South Florida Association of Environmental Professionals (SFAEP). He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, gardening with native plants, and participating in the preservation of Florida’s rich natural heritage.
