Senior Ecologist

Lee Cook, MS, PWS, has over 26 years of experience in environmental permitting, wetland delineations, and wildlife studies. Lee worked as a Wetlands Biologist in the Regulatory Program of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for over 9 years, reviewing federal permit applications, conducting jurisdictional determinations over Waters of the U.S, and conducting staff training programs. Lee’s areas of specialization include local, state, and federal wetlands permitting with an emphasis on utility permitting, wetland mitigation banking, jurisdictional determinations with emphasis on hydric soil identification, and herpetology. Lee’s mitigation banking experience includes designing upland and wetland creation and restoration areas, credit evaluations, permitting, and post-permit compliance activities. 

Lee’s personal interests include trail running, kayaking, biking, music, and reading.
