Mary M. James, MA, PWS, contributes more than 17 years of diverse ecological experience to the Quest Team. She holds an MA in Ecology from UNC-Chapel Hill, and a BS in Natural Resources from the University of the South. Since moving to Florida in 2000, she has primarily worked in the phosphate mining and ecological consulting arenas. Her areas of expertise include project management, environmental permitting, ecological restoration, mitigation banking, habitat assessment, vegetation monitoring, wetland delineation, plan reviews, and construction inspection. She has maintained certification as a Professional Wetland Scientist since 2006, holds a FL Pesticide Applicators License (Aquatics), and is an FDEP-Certified Stormwater Inspector.
Mary’s personal interests include spending time with family and friends, hiking, canoeing, and live music.
